actionList.Pro’s powerLine xOver Scanner delivers an overview of stock ticker symbols featuring powerLine crossover alerts from companies in aLP's coverage universe. Crossover alerts prompt technical and fundamental research initiatives, as well as follow-up review of the related assessments. The scanner is updated on an end-of-day basis. In default mode, the stock ticker symbols included on a registered user’s actionList are automatically highlighted for easy reference. (See Image 1.)

The filters available from the primary NAV menu serve to transition from the scanner’s default mode to highlighting selections based on assigned macro-sectors or macro-markets (SM) and primary industrial sectors (i1), as well as decile groups for the following valuation-related measures.
- Market Capitalization (Cap)
- Price to Sales ratio (PS)
- Price to Earnings ratio (PE)
- PE to Growth ratio (PEG -or- PG)
- Price to Book ratio (PB)
Decile groups are defined as LOW (Deciles 1–3), MID (Deciles 4–7) and HGH (Deciles 8–10). Deciles are normalized at the primary industrial sector level; i.e., they are calculated within primary industrial sectors, so each company is ranked against its industry peers rather than the overall market. Sector-level normalization helps prevent distortions across sectors. E.g., it helps prevent companies with relatively large market capitalizations in the Technology or Applied Technology sectors from eclipsing those in the Infrastructure or Leisure sectors.
For greater refinement and control, the “HIDE MARKET CAP DECILE” menu allows for limiting the results to one or two market capitalization decile groups, making it easier to focus on opportunities within selected market capitalization deciles.
The scanner’s table also features sorting and navigation tools. Columns may be sorted with a click on the respective column header letters. The “FILTER ACTIONS” section presents links that open multiple tabs to highlighted filter selections’ home pages, as well as pages associated with user-included BASE URLs in the User Profile section.
Finally, once selections from the scanner are identified, they can be easily added to the actionList panel for further monitoring with an automatically generated collection of related reports, studies, and charts designed to help position each stock within the context of the stock market’s evolving structure.
